About Us
Little Apple Doulas was founded by KayLee Proctor when she recognized a growing need for highly trained professional doulas in the community. She expanded her solo practice into a partnership which blossomed into the area's first doula agency. The agency model of care ensures each client's needs are met and their expectations exceeded. Our doulas are experts in labor support, postpartum recovery, and newborn care here to provide your family with the support and resources you desire to have a positive birth experience.

KayLee Proctor

Since she was young, KayLee knew she wanted to work around birth and babies. She had been a caregiver from the start. As the eldest sibling she got plenty of practice caring for her brother and sister. She became a nanny for newborn twins while raising her first born and then followed a path that led her to being a caregiver in emergency medicine for 5 years. She became the resident expert on pregnancy, birth, and infants, often educating her peers.
Her friends and family sought her out as the authority and frequently seek her advice and guidance when a question arises. Her vast background experience gives her a unique perspective and appreciation for the physiological birth process and the medical needs that sometimes arise. Her desire to focus on families and the support they need surrounding the birth of a new baby fueled her passion to pursue doula work as a career. Her clients highly value her ability to offer support without judgement or bias. When she's not attending births or teaching, KayLee enjoys spending time with her family and playing softball. |
Faith Bomar

Faith began attending births as a young girl alongside her mother who is also a doula. She grew up watching her mother nurturing others as they became mothers themselves. After her own four unique birth experiences, Faith felt led to pursue doula work as a career. Her passion for helping families is evident. Faith specializes in labor support. She is able to tune into each client and meet them in that moment. Her ability to recognize the needs of the whole family present in the birthing space has been an incredible asset to those she has supported. Her encouraging smile and calming presence has helped many mothers through the toughest parts of their labors. When she is not attending births, Faith can be found raising her 4 children and repurposing old treasures. |
